Ready for an adventure through the Alps, this Steiff Teddy wears a traditional mountaineer's wool felt hat with a blue and white cord trim and carries a climbing rope across his body. In his left paw is a tin and wood pickaxe to support him on the way to the summit. In the right paw he holds an Edelweiss blossom that he picked along the way. Mountaineer Teddy is a traditional Steiff bear made of the finest beige mohair. He stands 10 inches tall and is five-way jointed. Flat foot pads allow this fellow to be posed in a standing or seated position. He has a wonderful expression with friendly eyes and a brown hand-stitched nose.
